From July 29th, the road to Rinnebach in the Egstedt district will be completely closed. The reason for the work required at short notice is the poor state of preservation of the Wiesenbach piping in the street area.

There is currently a load capacity limit of 12 tons total mass. With the purchase of new buses by Evag, higher loads are affecting the already weakened structural area. This leads to static problems that no longer guarantee the stability of the structure. Therefore, crossing with the new buses was no longer possible and access to the stop was only possible to a limited extent.

In order to be able to offer a public transport connection with two regular stops again in the long term, the Wiesenbach passage must be replaced by a new building. For this purpose, the old structure in the affected area will be completely dismantled and replaced with new and stable reinforced concrete pipes.

By reinstalling the existing pavement, the original character of the local street will be retained despite the difficult height conditions. The work can only be carried out with the Zum Rinnebach street completely closed and is expected to last until September 13th. Almost all properties can be accessed from one side of the closure. There are no significant restrictions for pedestrians.

Road users are asked to observe the signs regarding the construction site.
