Unknown persons stole a total of 300 cubic meters of spruce trunks between Friday evening and Monday afternoon. These were upholstered on the country road between Gehlberg and Schmiedefeld near the Schmücke. The logs themselves were 5 meters long and must have been loaded onto a truck using a crane. The removal of the approximately 1,200 trunks most likely took place over several nights. There was damage of around 21,000 euros. The police are looking for witnesses who can provide information.
