Anyone who ingests these out of ignorance or curiosity should contact the emergency services immediately. A strange feeling is said to arise as soon as you eat. The arum contains calcium oxalate, which sticks like needles in the mouth and tongue when consumed.
For people who like it quiet
Otherwise, a visit to the Steigerwald is rather harmless. And even those who go without one in summer have advantages in the warm season thanks to this green belt in the south of the state capital. Without Steigerwald, Erfurt would be a warmer city in many parts of the city in summer.
