The Erfurt sports company and the Office of Education are looking for support

After school, gain initial practical experience, (re)orientate yourself professionally and develop personally - this is possible with voluntary service. The Erfurt city administration is currently looking for federal volunteers to support the work of the Erfurt sports company or the Office of Education for a year.

We are looking for three people who are interested in crafts and gardening work to work in the Erfurt sports business. They are involved in the preparation and follow-up of sporting events and competitions, but are also involved in the maintenance of green spaces or in organizational and technical areas.

In the Office of Education, volunteers have the opportunity to get actively involved in the student library and leisure activities at high schools, vocational schools and comprehensive schools. For example, they guide students in using media, but also support them with school events and care tasks. Anyone who would like to work with children with disabilities will find the right placement in the support centers.

The volunteers can contribute and realize their own projects. In addition to the work in the respective deployment site, federal volunteers are offered the opportunity to exchange ideas with other volunteers and to deal with cultural and general topics through a variety of seminars.

Regardless of age, school qualifications and professional experience, those interested can apply for the federal voluntary service at the Erfurt city administration. Anyone who has completed compulsory schooling has the opportunity to get involved in the social, ecological and cultural areas for the general public. While young people in particular can gain experience in professional life, older volunteers are encouraged to contribute and pass on their professional and life experience.

Anyone interested can contact the Office of Education, Adult Education Center Erfurt directly on 0361 655-2977 or by email at bundesfreiwillgendienst@erfurt.de . The start of the operation can be coordinated individually.
