In the early hours of the morning there was a serious traffic accident on the A9 in the direction of Munich. A small van drove into a moving winter service clearing vehicle without braking. The 31-year-old Czech driver of the van was taken to hospital with serious injuries. According to the witnesses, the driver was said to have been driving unsafely before the accident. The investigation into the exact cause of the accident is still ongoing. The Munich direction had to be completely closed for an hour. There was material damage of around EUR 45,000.
