What is the probability of being stopped on the highway by the same police officer for the same thing? Apparently it's not entirely unlikely! This afternoon, a motorway police officer stopped a Polish articulated train because the driver did not maintain the required safety distance. During the subsequent inspection, the Polish driver presented a security deposit that had already been paid on October 30, 2023. At that time he had also fallen below the safety distance. Coincidentally, the document was issued by the same police officer who stopped him today. Since the driver apparently had learned nothing, he paid EUR 185 for the intentional act.
