On Friday night, the Thuringia police were informed about a vehicle that was traveling on the federal highway 4 in the direction of Frankfurt a. M. drives conspicuously in serpentine lines and is said to have touched the guard rail several times. A patrol crew from the motorway police station was able to pick up the vehicle in the Lobdeburg Tunnel near Jena. The driver of the car was driving on the highway at a speed of 40 km/h. He initially did not obey the police signal to stop. During a traffic stop, the officers discovered that the 34-year-old Bulgarian driver already had a suspended driving license and therefore did not have a valid driving license. He also breathed a breath alcohol level of 1.78 per mille. Several empty beer and liquor bottles were found in the accused's vehicle. The young driver has committed several traffic offenses. The journey ended with the driver having a blood sample taken in the hospital.
