This Sunday afternoon, at 11:44 a.m., an attentive road user made an emergency call to report that a Belgian car/trailer combination was traveling on the BAB 4 in the direction of Frankfurt am Main at significantly more than the permitted speed of 80 km/h. The communicator always passed on the current location to the motorway police. At AS Sättelstädt, the VW car and trailer were picked up by a radio patrol car and set off on a follow-up journey. A speed measurement showed a value of 145 km/h with a permitted speed of 80 km/h. The team was subsequently subjected to a personal and vehicle check at AS Eisenach/Ost. The 46-year-old Belgian driver had to pay a security deposit of 535 euros for her deliberate actions on site. In addition, this fine violation includes a one-month driving ban and two points in the central traffic register in Flensburg.
