From now on, SWE Parken GmbH is launching a new parking technology in the main station car park in which the license plates of the vehicles are automatically recognized - and the barriers open as if by magic.
“Our goal is to make the parking process as easy and convenient as possible for our customers. Automatic license plate recognition saves time and avoids searching for parking tickets,” explains Nicole Barthel, Managing Director of SWE Parken GmbH. “The modern system improves the entire process from entry to exit.”
And this is how it works: When you drive in, a camera scans the license plate and then opens the barriers. If you want to stop parking, enter the corresponding license plate number at the payment machine and pay as usual. The barriers then open automatically for the exit.
“We are proud to be able to offer this innovative solution to all of our customers. It is a further step for our parking garages towards digitalization and customer friendliness,” says Nicole Barthel. “An explanatory video and further information can be found on our website.”
