The service commemorates Saint Martin, whose charitable work is remembered in the legend of the divided cloak. The “flying kitchen”, a former circus wagon, sets up its stage and invites you to watch and play along. Of course, on this day there are also the famous, delicious St. Martin's croissants, which are offered by many Erfurt bakers. A children's punch or the first mulled wine of the year helps against the cool weather.
