Restrictions on the light rail lines 3/N3 and 6

The Erfurt transport company is renewing a section of track on Nordhäuser Straße near the university. Due to the construction work, the area must be completely closed to light rail traffic at night. From Monday, July 29th, 2024, to Wednesday, July 31st, 2024, there will be restrictions on the light rail lines 3, N3 and 6 from 8:20 p.m. to 4:30 a.m.
The light rail line 3 runs in this area Period from Urbicher Kreuz or Melchendorf via Anger to Domplatz Süd and from the Klinikum to Europaplatz. The tram line 6 runs from Steigerstraße to Domplatz Süd and from the Klinikum stop to Rieth. The Erfurt transport company uses rail replacement transport (SEV) for the route from Domplatz to the clinic. The SEV buses run as follows: Domplatz Nord – Webergasse/Andreaskirche – Bergstrasse – Baumerstrasse – University – Clinic and back. At night, the SEV buses on line N3 run between Anger, Domplatz Nord, Klinikum and Rieth.
Drivers can pass through the area during the work, only one lane out of town will be closed. The Erfurt transport company asks that you pay attention to the signs on site. A detour will be in place for pedestrians. We apologize for any inconveniences.
